We’re looking for the unreasonable ones.

Skip the résumé. Show us your work.

The kind of person we mean

Reasonable people learn to live with these things.

Every practice here — software, assurance, operations, people, brand — runs on the same kind of person. Someone who sees the hand-off that keeps breaking, the screen that wastes an operator’s hour, the good product the market ignores, and cannot walk past it. We are hiring the ones who can’t.

The work is not glamorous in the brochure sense. It is a stock register that finally agrees with the shelf. An entry screen an operator stops noticing. A finding a board acts on. If doing the thing properly matters more to you than being seen doing it, you will recognise the people here.

What we hire on

Three things, taken literally.

01

Clarity of thought

You can state the problem in plain words before you argue for a solution.

02

Obsession with craft

The part nobody would notice is the part you refuse to skip.

03

Something great you have already made

Not potential: a thing that exists, works, and is honestly yours. It does not have to be big. It has to be yours.

How we decide

No leetcode. No whiteboard theatrics.

We read your work before we meet you, and the interview is a working conversation about it — what was hard, what you chose, what you would do differently now. Expect to be questioned closely. That is not hostility; it is what taking your work seriously looks like.

This holds whether the work is code, a costing sheet, a rebuilt process, a classroom, or a label design. Credentials can join the conversation. They don’t get to open it.

The standard cuts both ways. Clients get told the truth here even when it costs us. So will you. What we refuse to give our clients — average work, dressed up — we refuse to give you as a working life.

Apply

Three steps.

01

Pick one piece of work you are proud of.

A GitHub link, a process you rebuilt, an audit finding, a campaign, a drawing — the link or the thing itself, whichever shows it honestly.

02

Tell us why it matters.

A few plain lines: the problem, your part in it, the decision you are proudest of.

03

Mail both to us.

Send it to hello@andrometiq.com, with the kind of work you want to do and where you are based.

04

That’s it.

There is no vacancies board and no application portal. One good piece of work, sent to that address, is read by the people who would sit beside you.

If you believe business software should be as good as the best consumer apps — say so. We should talk.
